Aahhhh wonderful Czech food & service

“Meandering through side streets between Charles Bridge & Old Town Square, we stopped at this delightful restaurant to grab a bite. The staff are very friendly and the ambiance makes you realise, you are in the right place. Try any menu from the Czech fare, and enjoy. Prices are modest, so it’s great value for money.”

Great food and service

“How did we miss this gem of a restaurant? Pehaps it's tucked away slightly and sits back inconspicuous. We walked over and looked at the menu, it's great for snacks and perhaps something more substantial too. On entering we were greeted with a cheery and welcoming "Hello" from the waiter, he guided us to a table and brought the menus once we were settled. They have a good selection of Staropramen beers, wine, including hot wine for that winter chill and spirits. The goulash soup is amazing and was served in the freshest bread ever. The burger was lean and had a lovely flavour, fries are served as a side dish. The service was excellent and the food very, very good. I just wish we had discovered this restaurant sooner.”

Czech Cuisine

“It was our first experience of Czech cuisine. We ordered Beef Goulash and Pork Knuckle and some beer. Ordered a cheesecake for dessert. Everything was yum, especially the goulash. Reasonably priced and service was good as well. Would surely recommend it. It is near to the area with the old clock.”

Czech Cuisine

“We were passing this place and chanced our luck, the gamble paid off. Welcomed in by the friendly staff and shown to a table for two. Menus have a wide variety of dishes most of which are local dishes. Started with the goulash soup which was a meal in itself followed by a steak with side orders of roasted potatoes and boiled potatoes. The potatoes tasted like potatoes should and not today's usual offerings of tasteless mush. The steak was cooked to perfection and again had taste and quality. The goulash soup was a delight, hot, think and tasty and served in a scooped out bread with its own lid. All washed down with some lovely Czech beer and then a couple more just to be social. Price was very good and the night was totally enjoyable. Great food, great staff, great experience. We will be back.”
